Beer Space On Tap, located in the basement level of Kobe Plaza Hotel in Motomachi-dori, Chuo Ward, Kobe, announced its new tap on a May 16 post. In the post, the bar said, “It’s already the kind of weather that makes you want to drink beer,” while also announcing that it will open at 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours that make it easy to enjoy a drink while it’s still light out highlight just how convenient this place is.

The newly tapped beer this time is Uchoten Brewing’s “Jazz (NITRO ver.).” According to the post, it has the dark appearance typical of an Irish Dry Stout, but is designed not to lean too heavily into weight, while still offering roasted notes and aromas reminiscent of coffee and dark chocolate. Combined with the smooth mouthfeel characteristic of nitrogen dispense, it is the kind of beer you’ll want to sip slowly.

The tap list features seven beers in total, offering a wide range from dark beer to a hoppy pour.

- Uchoten Brewing / Jazz (NITRO ver.)
- T.Y HARBOR BREWERY / Wheat Ale
- Edelpils (brewery not listed)
- Y.MARKET BREWING / Lupulin Nectar
- Y.MARKET BREWING / HOPPING SHACHI
- GOOD HOPS / Sorachi Ace Respect
- T.Y HARBOR / Pale Ale
