Final day at the south exit of Kunitachi Station

On July 19, Sakamichi Brewing posted on Instagram that Kunitachi Nominoichi was on its final day. The brewery said it would serve chilled beer from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. outside the south exit of Kunitachi Station.

Kunitachi Nominoichi is a community-focused craft beer event around Kunitachi Station, bringing together breweries, food vendors, and shops from Kunitachi and the wider Chuo Line area. The format makes it easy to stop by for a drink in an open station-front setting.

Based in Tachikawa, Tokyo, Sakamichi Brewing says it values the brewing process as much as the result. Its official site highlights patience, craftsmanship, hard work, and attention to detail, along with a preference for local organic ingredients whenever possible. The brewery also aims to offer a broad range of styles, from familiar lagers and ales to newer interpretations of what beer can be.

At Kunitachi Nominoichi, that approach should come through in the glass. For a brewery that operates a brewhouse and taproom in Tachikawa, taking part in a local station-area event fits neatly with its community-minded profile.
