Event overview
THE KICHI in Nikko, Tochigi, will mark its second anniversary in August. The brewery announced a thank-you event for Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reception starts at 5:00 p.m., and reservations are open until July 28.
Beer and limited items
The main highlight is a commemorative beer made with home-grown hops that the team has cultivated in its own field for more than six years. The post describes hops as the soul of beer and positions the beer as a way to bring out the character of Nikko’s natural environment. THE KICHI will also offer a 500-yen anniversary gacha with a can-beer key holder inside. Only a small number will be available. A B plan with a light meal is also planned, including a sandwich made with house-baked bread from a nearby patisserie.
Live music and schedule
The program also includes a duo live set with Nikko-born singer-songwriter Nitori Hiroyasu and a button accordion player, followed by a big raffle. Capacity is limited to 35 guests, and entry is first-come, first-served. The A plan costs 4,000 yen and the B plan 4,500 yen, both with one drink ticket. For a brewery that has spent two years building its place in Nikko, the event combines beer, music, and a strong sense of locality.
