At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inage Kaigan, West Coast Brewing's "Super Fresh" has just been tapped. Even on a day with strong rain and wind and a chilly feel, this shop still lets you enjoy a fresh rotating draft pour.
This time, "Super Fresh" is a collaboration with Inkhorn Brewing in Mejiro, Tokyo. Built as a hazy double IPA featuring 2026-harvest "Nectaron" as the star and combining Citra and Krush, it comes in at 8.0% ABV. Its aroma is said to layer bright citrus notes reminiscent of strawberry, grape, and grapefruit, while the flavor expands into tropical nuances that evoke yellow peach and peach nectar. Another defining trait is its full body paired with a silky finish.
The draft lineup that day ranged widely from staples to distinctive picks. In addition to GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, and Hoegaarden White, there were also The Veil's "Merciless Merciless," Harland's "West Coast IPA," Sierra Nevada's "Pale Ale," 8 Bit Brewing's "Final Horizon," and Smog City's "Amarilla Gollira IPA." It's a lineup that works well as a starting point for comparison drinking.
MIHAMA BASE operates as a craft beer specialty shop in Inage Kaigan and also offers takeout for bottles and cans. Seating reservations are available as well, making it a convenient spot when you want to settle in and drink at your own pace.
