Three days at Kunitachi Station

Sakamichi Brewing, based in Shibasaki-cho, Tachikawa, introduced Kunitachi Nominoichi 2026, a community-focused event taking place from July 17 to 19 at the south exit plaza of Kunitachi Station. According to the event schedule, it runs on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free, and the event will be held in light rain but canceled in severe weather.

Nominoichi began as an idea from Kunitachi Station staff and will reach its fifth edition this year. The 2026 event also marks the 100th anniversary of Kunitachi Station, and the added Friday evening session makes it easier for people to stop by after work.

The festival is set to feature craft beer, food, music, and workshops, making it more than just a beer event. It is designed as a place where visitors can spend time with the neighborhood atmosphere, local makers, and a broad range of activities that work for families as well.

Sakamichi Brewing is a Tokyo brewery that emphasizes process as much as the final result, while also focusing on local ingredients and environmentally conscious brewing. As a local craft beer presence in the Tachikawa-Kunitachi area, this is a notable summer event to watch.
