Paddle Brew heads to Tokushima Marche

Paddle Brew will take part in Tokushima Marche on Sunday, July 26, at Shinmachi Boardwalk in Tokushima City. The venue is the Nittaibashi East Odori Plaza, and the event is being presented as a beer and shaved-ice fair. According to the brewery, a range of craft beers from breweries in Tokushima will be available alongside shaved-ice vendors.

In its post, Paddle Brew says it will bring fresh draft beer brewed at Kenzan Brewery. The brewery also frames the weekend as a chance to enjoy beer as a way to cool down in the summer heat, which fits the relaxed, outdoor setting of the market.

Paddle Brew is based in Mima, Tokushima Prefecture. The brewery’s official shop introduces its production site at the foot of Mount Tsurugi as Kenzan Brewery, and its beers are built around a nature-first approach. Using water from the upper reaches of the Anabuki River, the brewery has developed beers that evoke river, forest, and mountain settings.

Shinmachi Boardwalk is a familiar waterfront event space in central Tokushima City, often used for markets and beer gatherings. With draft beer and shaved ice in the same venue, the event should appeal both to craft-beer drinkers looking to compare styles and to visitors who want an easy summer stop in the city.
