In addition to its regular beers, it is offering four limited-time brews, and also announced the return of "MOMO IPA," which was served in the summer of 2025.
Naramugi Beer Naramachi Brewery, a craft brewery in Naramachi, Nara City, posted its "today's tap" lineup on March 1, 2026. This lineup combines regular offerings with a selection of highly seasonal limited beers, creating a lineup with plenty of variety for tasting side by side.
The main beers announced in the post are as follows.
Today's Taps (as listed in the post)
- Naramachi Ale (Pale Ale)
- Haku (Weizen)
- Kuro (Stout)
- Ao (IPA)
- Okukasuga Brown (Scotch Ale)
- Koharu Blanche (Saison)
Limited-Time Beers (as listed in the post)
- New Zealand-W (W-IPA)
- Naramachi Premium Craft (Pilsner)

- Spice Rich Ale (Spice Ale)
The main highlight this time is the revival of MOMO IPA. The post explains that the MOMO IPA, which was tapped in the summer of 2025, is being brought back for a limited time, positioning it as a return for customers who missed it last time. With a name that evokes a fruity profile, it is likely to stand out even among the spring lineup.
According to the brewery's official website, the company brews in Naramachi, the old town district of Nara, and operates in a way that completes service on site. March business hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, with last orders 30 minutes before closing in each case. The brewery is closed on Tuesdays in March, and it is scheduled to celebrate its 9th anniversary on March 30.
The brewery's appeal lies in centering its lineup on locally rooted regular beers while adding seasonal limited releases. This tap update should give beer fans a concrete reason to stop by, especially when paired with a stroll through Naramachi.
