Narabeer Naramachi Brewery in Nara City introduced its new beer, N3, on Instagram. According to the post, N3 is an NZ-style IPA built around the bright, aromatic character of Nelson Sauvin hops. The brewery describes it as a beer worth trying for drinkers who enjoy hop-forward aromas.

Narabeer operates in Naramachi, the old downtown district of Nara, and its official site says the brewery makes and serves its own beer there. In the same post, the brewery also listed its regular tap lineup, including Naramachi Ale (Pale Ale), Haku (Weizen), Kuro (Stout), Ao (IPA), Akane (Scotch Ale), and Midori (Saison). Limited beers on tap included Naramachi Lager (Pilsner), N3 (New Zealand IPA), and Spice Rich Ale.

N3 was presented as part of the day’s tap selection, which suggests the brewery is continuing its mix of core beers and rotating specialties. For drinkers in Nara, that makes Narabeer’s taproom a place where a familiar lineup can still lead to something new. As a locally rooted brewery in Nara’s historic district, Narabeer is using limited releases like N3 to add variety without moving away from its established house styles.
