At the beer pub "Himalaya table" in Tokyo's Uchikanda, a lineup of draft beers from domestic breweries that showcases their individual character has been assembled for Wednesday, May 27.

At the top is Y.MARKET BREWING's "Egifu!! Wheat Lager." Following that are Noboribetsu local beer Oni Densetsu's "Kinki Pale Ale 'Mosaic Single Ver.'" and Swan Lake Beer’s "Amber Swan Ale." Together, they make an easy-to-enjoy combination that highlights differences in aroma, malt character, and drinking impression.

From Nara Brewing come the IPA "LOCOMOTION" and the sour "STUDY IN ROUGE." In addition, Baeren's "Colonia," Minoh Beer's "Nice Bitter," and Ushitora Brewery's "Favorite IPA" are also on tap, making for a wide range of styles including lager, pale ale, amber, IPA, sour, and bitter.

Himalaya table is a beer pub near Kanda Station that is easy to drop into casually. It seems like a day well suited both for drinking a solid amount and for trying one glass at a time alongside a meal, with plenty of room for the fun of tasting side by side. If you like draft beer, it is worth visiting with the goal of following each brewery's character.
