TAP ROOM 99 in Fujimi, Chiba City, is the direct taproom of KANKIKU BREWERY. With a calm, hideaway-like atmosphere, it is a place where beer and food can be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. The venue is within walking distance of Chiba Station, and its two-floor layout makes it convenient for both after-work visits and weekend tasting sessions.

From June 12 to 14, two limited KANKIKU BREWERY beers will be served. The lineup includes Fusanomai Lager, a rice lager brewed with Chiba-grown sake rice, and Fuzzy Navel, a sakekasu smoothie sour ale. Fusanomai Lager is described as dry on the finish with a firm bitterness, while Fuzzy Navel leans into peach and orange character and takes inspiration from the cocktail of the same name.

The venue will also offer its well-received 990-yen set, which pairs a new beer with a recommended food item. That format makes it easier to understand how the beer and the dish work together, especially when trying a new release for the first time.

June also brings a schedule change, with Mondays remaining closed. A Father’s Day event is planned for June 16-21 as well, adding another reason to visit. For drinkers following KANKIKU BREWERY’s latest releases in Chiba, TAP ROOM 99 looks like a key stop in mid-June.
