A Major Golden Week Event in Kyushu

"BEERS OF JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026" will be held from April 25 to May 6 at the Oval Park on the 1st floor of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka, and from May 2 to May 6 at the station square in front of the north exit of JR Oita Station. The Fukuoka venue runs for 12 days, and the Oita venue for 5 days; both are set up so visitors can compare craft beers from across Japan.

At the Fukuoka venue, Hiroshima Kita Beer and FUKUOKA CRAFT BREWING will participate for the first time, and Blue Master, Abashiri Beer, Skyhop Brewing, MOONRISE Brewery, and Kuju Kogen Beer will also appear. More than 120 labels will be lined up at the venue, and the food booths will include Hokkaido zangi, Miyazaki gyoza, and Kitchen Car Village. At the Oita venue, brewers from Abashiri Beer, Blue Master, Skyhop Brewing, and Kuju Kogen Beer will be on site to introduce the flavors of each beer directly.

Tendo Brewery in Yamagata (Yubou Ichiraku) is a brewpub operated by a hot spring inn. It makes "Seiōbō (St. Cherry)," a beer using cherries, and "Mr.A," a SOBA beer that brings out the aroma of buckwheat, and overnight guests can also enjoy fresh draft beer straight from the brewery. Its approach of pouring local ingredients directly into a glass resonates with the appeal of the regional breweries gathered at this festival. For beer lovers who want to compare the tastes of each destination while traveling, this is the kind of event that makes both the Fukuoka and Oita venues worth checking out.
