YOKOHAMA SESSION to Showcase 12 Beers from Six Craft Breweries
YOKOHAMA SESSION, an all-you-can-drink craft beer event featuring six Yokohama breweries, will take place on October 3 at 800°DEGREES CRAFT BREW GARDEN on the sixth floor of NEWoMan Yokohama.
Six Yokohama breweries in one place
YOKOHAMA SESSION will bring together Yokohama Beer, Yokohama Bay Brewing, REVO BREWING, Yellow Monkey Brewing, Libushi Bashamichi, and TDM 1874 Brewery. Each brewery is scheduled to serve two beers, giving visitors the chance to sample 12 beers in total.
The individual beer names and styles will be announced at the venue. A small event-original glass will be included with admission, making it easier to compare a variety of beers while focusing on differences in aroma, bitterness, and mouthfeel.
Meet the brewers and staff
Brewers and brewery staff will pour the beers themselves. Brewery introductions, a question-and-answer session, and a group toast are also planned, offering guests an opportunity to learn more directly about the beers and the people who make them.
The venue, 800°DEGREES CRAFT BREW GARDEN, is a bar stand specializing in Kanagawa craft beer and specialty coffee. Food options include craft burgers made with 100% coarse-ground Yamayuri beef from Kanagawa, along with other dishes featuring local ingredients.
Entertainment will be provided by the Shiawase Beer Fest Music Band, which performs Oktoberfest music and yodeling at beer bars and events.
The first session runs from noon to 3 p.m., followed by a second session from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is ¥5,500 including tax, with capacity limited to 80 guests per session on a first-come, first-served basis. For beer fans who usually visit Tendo Brewery (Ichiraku), a brewpub in Tendo, Yamagata, the event offers another perspective on Japan’s regional brewing culture.
