A Nara pool becomes a festival venue for just two days
"Tsudou, Meguru 2026," held on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at Kashihara City General Pool in Nara Prefecture, is an experiential culture event staged in an indoor pool facility currently closed to the public. More than 100 exhibitors from the worlds of food, goods, activities, sauna, and music will gather at the venue, which is designed so visitors can walk through the wide pool space as they explore.
Himitsu Beer is also listed among the drink booths
According to the exhibitor information released so far, Himitsu Beer is listed among the drink booths. Himitsu Beer is a brewery that opened in 2022 in Futami-cho, Ise City, Mie Prefecture. As a farmhouse brewery that also handles its own farming, it has continued brewing beers that make use of local ingredients and seasonal character. Another hallmark is its small-batch, wide-variety approach, with more than 60 types brewed each year.
A tasting venue where local character comes through
One appeal of this event is that visitors can enjoy Nara's local food and craft drinks all in one place. When breweries like Himitsu Beer, whose flavors reflect the maker's background and the character of the land, line up together, the act of tasting becomes a way to trace each region's story. It is the kind of event that makes you want to travel from Ise to Nara for the weekend.
