Hop-Scotch Tokyo Opens Two New Taps, Featuring Varietal and Oni-Densetsu
Tokyo's Iidabashi beer pub Hop-Scotch Tokyo announced “New Taps!!” in a post at 16:29 on March 19. In this update, Varietal Beer Co.'s IPA “Twine Climber” and Oni-Densetsu's “NEW Fuku ...” were newly tapped.
Hop-Scotch Tokyo, the beer pub in Fujimi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, announced its latest tap update. The post title was “New Taps!!” The highlight this time is a pairing of an overseas brewery and domestic craft beer.
First up is Varietal Beer Co.'s “Twine Climber.” Listed as an IPA, it has been added to Hop-Scotch Tokyo's lineup as a beer designed to emphasize hop-driven aroma and drinkability.
The second is Oni-Densetsu's “NEW Fuku ...”. On the post, the name is presented exactly in this form, and it is introduced as a newly tapped addition to the Oni-Densetsu series that the shop regularly carries.
Hop-Scotch Tokyo is a prominent spot in the Iidabashi area that connects a wide range of craft beers from Japan and abroad. Because tap turnover is frequent, one of its charms is being able to encounter a new beer each time you visit. This update also centers on IPAs, making it a lineup that's easy to compare and enjoy, from a quick drink after work to a more leisurely tasting session.
The shop is on the first floor of the Inoue Building. Beer fans around Kagurazaka and Iidabashi who want to track what kegs are currently on tap should check the latest tap information before heading over, making it easier to find the beer they're after.
