Hop-Scotch Tokyo opens 8 new taps, including Upopo and Codebreaker
At the beer pub Hop-Scotch Tokyo in the Iidabashi-Kagurazaka area, eight taps have been newly rotated in. The lineup ranges from Hop Kotan Brewing's Pilsner "Upopo" to IPA, Hazy Double IPA, barrel-aged stout, and sour styles, making it a set ideal for tasting side by side.
With this "New Tap!!" update, Hop-Scotch Tokyo has introduced eight beers. The first one that stands out is Hop Kotan Brewing's Upopo (Pilsner). It is an easy-drinking beer that suggests a crisp, refreshing finish, and it makes sense that it sits at the top of the tap list.
Next up are hop-forward selections such as Trademark Brewing / Codebreaker (IPA) and Totopia Brewery / Diffusioohillia (Hazy Double IPA). Also on tap is Firestone Walker Brewing / Parabolita Mocha Latte, a rich beer that combines a Bourbon Barrel Aged Mklk Stout with Vanilla Beans, Cocoa Nibs, and Coffee. Along with IPA offerings like Oni-Densetsu / Kin-Oni Pale Ale ADHA-1631 ver. and Echoes Brewing / The Wave (Double IPA), the lineup offers a wide range of aroma and bitterness.
The list also includes AJB Brewing / Foeder Sour 2024 and 3Sons Brewing / Smooth Ops Piña colada. From lager to IPA, sour, and barrel-aged stout, the selection makes it easy to compare different styles in one visit.
The shop is located on the 1st floor of Inoue Building, 2-2-11 Fujimi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
