WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inagekaigan, Chiba, tapped a new beer on August 22: Yellow Beer Works' "raiNing パンダと僕のsession IPA." Brewed by Yellow Beer Works in Fukushima, the session IPA comes in at 5.0% ABV. The beer is described with tropical aromatics of white peach and pineapple, a mellow texture, a dry finish, and citrus notes and bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit and hassaku. It is positioned as a refreshing option for the humid season.

MIHAMA BASE is a craft beer-focused shop and dining spot, and because it holds a general liquor retail license, it also offers bottle and can takeout. The tap list spans a wide range of styles: GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Coronado's "Aloha Warrior IPA," Night Shift's "Whirlpool," Smog City's "Dynamic Pressure," Wormtown's "Be Hoppy IPA," and Harland's "Color Form IPA," alongside the featured Yellow Beer Works release.

The second location, MIHAMA BASE BEER STAND MAKUHARI, is also running its 4th anniversary event, with the final day set for August 23. At the Inagekaigan shop, August 23 and 24 are closed days, with substitute opening on August 25. For beer fans, it is a good moment to check the schedule, then drop in for the new session IPA and a look at the broader tap lineup.
