A 15-tap lineup in Gotanda
The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant, a basement beer pub in Nishi-Gotanda, shared its daily tap list on Instagram on August 21. The post notes that tables were still available on Friday, and the lineup spans classic imports, Japanese craft beer, and cider.
On tap are Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, O'Hara's 51st State IPA, Magners Cider, Sankt Gallen YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale, Ikari Brewing Irish Red, Ikari Brewing Scottish Brown Real Ale, Bluntrock Pagan Juice, St Austell Tribute Pale Ale, Uchu Brewing Uchu ALE, U.B.P Brewery Memorial Match, Baeren Alchemist's Golden Lager, Hansharo Beer Peach White IPA, and Rek Cider Beer Works STANDARD CIDER.
The guest keg note is just as clear: BAEREN's Alchemist's Golden Lager is down to the last pours, and once it runs out, Kanpai! Brewing's Konotobira-zaka Mexican Lager will go on tap. That makes the list useful for drinkers who want to compare British-style staples, hop-driven Japanese beers, and cider in one visit.
Food also looks built for pairing: oysters from Ofunato in Iwate, katsuo tataki salad, steak and ale pie, boxty, trofie with swordfish and pesto genovese, and a premium Noto beef curry. It is the kind of pub where the beer list and the food menu are meant to be read together.
