Three new kegs at MIHAMA BASE
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer-focused venue in Inagekaigan, Chiba, has added three new draft beers to its tap list.
The first is Smog City’s Year 15 Anniversary WC IPA from California. Brewed to celebrate the brewery’s 15th anniversary, this 6.8% West Coast IPA brings aromas of grapefruit peel, lime, ripe peach, and passion fruit, followed by berry and resin-like notes. Its crisp body, firm bitterness, and dry finish keep the beer sharply defined.
Next is Isekadoya Beer ESB from Mie, Japan. At 5.0% ABV and 35 IBU, this American ESB combines yeast-driven apple and pear aromas with citrusy American hops. Crystal malt adds a rounded richness before the beer finishes clean and dry. The brewery describes the draft as expressing the softness associated with cask ale.
The third new arrival is Coronado Aloha Warrior IPA. This 7.2% American IPA uses Simcoe, Chinook, and Columbus Cryo hops for a classic West Coast profile, with pronounced bitterness and a clean finish.
The wider tap list also includes Guinness, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Firestone Walker Anniversary Ale XXX, Coronado Hazy Weekend, and Night Shift Double Parked DIPA. MIHAMA BASE offers a broad selection of Japanese and international beers, and bottles and cans are also available for takeaway.
Located in Takasu, Mihama-ku, Chiba, the venue is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. It is a fitting stop for beer drinkers looking to compare contrasting IPA and malt-driven styles in a relaxed craft beer setting.
The venue also plans to hold the eighth MIHAMA BBQ with its Makuhari location on October 12 at Makuhari-Toyosuna BBQ Beer Garden.
