Beron, a beer pub in Oomachi, Sendai, will hold the Onagawa Silver Salmon Fair on June 17. The event brings together Beron, the Onagawa Ginzake PR Office, and Garuya Beer, marking the third collaboration between Beron and Onagawa Town.

Onagawa Town is known for having Japan's top silver salmon production for more than 35 years. The Onagawa Ginzake PR Office opened in April 2026 as a base for sharing the appeal of local silver salmon, and this will be its first collaboration appearance at Beron.

Planned dishes include:

- Sashimi of Onagawa silver salmon
- Fried silver salmon with house-made tartar sauce
- Ginger-simmered silver salmon backbone
- Charcoal-grilled silver salmon rice balls with salt
- Rich silver salmon rillette

The lineup highlights the fish's flavor across multiple styles, from raw and fried to simmered and rice-based dishes. The drinks side will be handled by Garuya Beer, serving craft beer brewed in Onagawa. It is the kind of pairing that fits Beron's standing-room, easygoing format: food, beer, and a casual stop-in atmosphere.

The event runs from 15:00 to 23:00. Reservations are not accepted, and one drink order is required; soft drinks are also available. As sold-out items and longer waits are possible, an earlier visit may be the safest choice. For a weekday event, it offers a rare chance to enjoy Onagawa's silver salmon and local craft beer in one place.
