Hop-Scotch Tokyo Opens New Taps, Featuring Fremont's Extra Lush and 7 Beers
At the beer pub Hop-Scotch Tokyo in Iidabashi, Tokyo, new tap information has been announced. The lineup includes Fremont Brewing's Triple IPA, "Extra Lush," along with seven beers total, ranging from IPA and hazy pale ale to Belgian dubbel, Oktoberfest-style beer, and saison.

The first beer that stands out in this release is Extra Lush (Triple IPA) from Fremont Brewing. With an ABV of 9.8% and IBU 80, it is the kind of beer you can expect to have serious heft. Also on tap are EZ IPA from Van Henion Brewing and Windows to VERTERE 2025 (Hazy Pale Ale) from West Coast Brewing, making this a lineup that IPA fans will appreciate.
The range of styles is broad as well. From Echoes Brewing come Dubbel Entendre (Belgian Dubbel) and Friedrich Ⅲ (Imperial Oktoberfest Uber Marzen), offering options for those looking for Belgian styles or malt-forward, lager-like flavors. Hop-Scotch Tokyo is open until 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays and holidays. On the second Saturday of every month, takopa is served from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and every Wednesday lunch curry is also available from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is a convenient spot whether you are stopping in for a beer or want to settle in and drink slowly with a meal.
