NEKOBEER Gets a New Tap in Inage Kaigan
At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a post on April 6 announced that NEKOBEER's "Nerutora-san" had been newly tapped. Operating as a craft beer specialty shop in Inage Kaigan, the venue also holds a general liquor retail license, allowing bottle and can takeout.
The featured beer this time, "Nerutora-san," is a DDH West Coast IPA with an ABV of 6.5%. Built around Nelson Sauvin and Citra, it also uses Nelson Sauvin in the bittering stage, bringing out a pleasant bitterness and a clear hop aroma. On top of that, the dry hop includes Citra and Citra Cryo, making this a beer that balances citrus notes with a clean finish.
According to the shop's guidance, it's a great first pint to enjoy by the pint, works well paired with food, and can also serve as a refreshing final drink to wrap up the night. Because it has the clarity typical of a West Coast IPA, it seems like an easy choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the character of hops straightforwardly.
That day's draft lineup also includes GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Los Angels Ale Works Full Thrust Double IPA, Belching Beaver Phantom Bride IPA, STONE Hazy IPA, Yellow Beer Works Tank Girl, and Deschutes Bachelor Bitter. With styles ranging from stout, pilsner, and wheat beer to double IPA, hazy IPA, and English bitter, it makes for an easy starting point for a tasting comparison.
Hours are 17:00 to 25:00, closed on Tuesdays. Food last order is 24:00, and drinks are served until 24:30. Reservations are accepted, so if you're looking for a hop-forward IPA in Inage Kaigan, this is an easy place to stop by.
