Fukui's OUR BREWING Sees All Three Entries Win at JGBA 2026
Fukui City craft brewery OUR BREWING announced that all three beers it entered won awards at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2026, held in February 2026. The winning beers were Dino King, Hoppy Hour, and Täglich Pils.

Fukui-based craft brewery OUR BREWING made its presence felt at the competition. According to its official announcement, at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2026 (JGBA), held in February 2026, all three beers the brewery entered won awards in their respective categories. The beers were:
- Dino King (American-style India Pale Ale)
- Hoppy Hour (India Pale Lager)
- Täglich Pils (German-style Pilsner)
The announcement emphasized that JGBA is a judging competition that evaluates not only “balance,” “aftertaste,” and “condition,” but also each beer’s individual appeal and strengths through an “absolute evaluation” system. OUR BREWING said it “fell just short of a gold medal,” but it intends to use the fact that all entered beers were recognized as a springboard for further quality improvement.
A particularly notable point this time was the award for Täglich Pils, which brewer Yamaguchi guided for the first time from recipe development through brewing. The work the brewery has been advancing to deepen its lager brewing has now been reflected in a concrete result.
