CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Kyobashi shared its draft beer lineup for Aug. 28. The beer pub opened on March 20, 2015, and is introduced as a spot with 16 taps and house-smoked food.

Today’s taps

The main highlights are Minoh Beer’s Weiss IPA and Nara Brewing’s Locomotion. Weiss IPA uses about 50% wheat malt and is presented as a fruity, hazy new IPA. Nelson Sauvin brings white grape and floral notes, Dolcita adds peach and lychee-like tropical character, and Citra layers in citrus. With IBU 16, the bitterness stays gentle while the hop aroma remains vivid. It is described as a step forward from the brewery’s Hoppy Weizen concept.

Locomotion is a juicy IPA built on a West Coast IPA base. It leans into grapefruit and pineapple-like hop aromas, with an almost clear appearance, a soft mouthfeel, and a restrained bitterness that fades cleanly.

The broader lineup also includes Yorimichi no Lager, Yebisu, Where the Wind Begins, Arrogant Bastard Ale, 37th Anniversary Golden Ale, Kinoni Pale Ale Real Ale Ver, Double Swisher, Apple Hop Fuji Ver, Snow Monkey IPA Orange Label, and KASUMI. With lagers, fruit beer, pale ale, and multiple IPAs in rotation, it is a lineup suited to side-by-side tasting.
