At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Makuhari, Chiba, a craft beer specialty shop, "Shimai Eigyō no Hi: Vietnam Edition" is being held to give guests the feel of a Vietnamese street stall. Inside the shop, the setup lets you pair authentic banh mi with draft craft beer, and takeout is also available.

There are two new kegs on tap this time. One is Yuya Boys' second original beer, "Flower Children/Sweetpea". It is a Double IPA with an ABV of 8.0%. It delivers a solid hop-driven bitterness layered with notes of grapefruit and tropical fruit for a beer with plenty of presence.

The other is West Coast Brewing's "Hop Fua". This one is a Hazy IPA with an ABV of 7.0%. It is the first release of a new recipe built around Citra hops, with grapefruit-like citrus character, sweet elements reminiscent of pineapple and peach, and additional impressions of mixed berries and grass. A gentle bitterness lingers on the finish, making this a well-balanced beer with both aroma and drinkability.

The draft lineup for the day includes eight beers in total. In addition to the regulars, KIRIN/HEARTLAND and Fuller's/London Pride, the list also features NEKOBEER/FANTASISTA - Budo wa Tomodachi -, West Coast Brewing/Westie Bois, Night Shift/Fluffy Hazy IPA, and Deschutes/Hop Krush Hazy IPA. It is a lineup worth exploring on a day when you want both a meal and beer in Makuhari.

The event is announced for March 28, and it perfectly reflects MIHAMA BASE's signature atmosphere of enjoying food and beer together. Whether you want to enjoy a hop-forward beer or drink it with banh mi, this is a day worth stopping by for.
