Osaka Shibuya Beer, a brewery in Fujiidera, Osaka, will take part in the craft beer event "CRAFT BEER LIVE 2026," held at Osaka's Nanko ATC on May 23 and 24. The venue is ATC Piloti Square, where breweries from the Kansai region's two prefectures and four prefectures gather for this annual event, with brewers themselves serving the beer.

More than 50 breweries will participate in the event as a whole, and visitors will be able to enjoy more than 300 kinds of craft beer. The food area will feature 10 vendors serving pizza, gyoza, yakitori, and more, while the stage will host live performances by brewers and toast-themed events. One of the attractions of this event is the chance to compare craft beers while speaking directly with the people who make them.

Osaka Shibuya Beer is a small brewery located about a 10-minute walk from Fujiidera Station. On its official website, the company presents its history as inheriting the lineage of Japan's first brewed beer made by Japanese hands. Its standard beer, "Kawachi no Ale," is characterized by the use of peel from thinned Unshu mandarins, and making products that make the most of local ingredients is one of the brewery's strengths.

At this exhibition as well, there is a chance visitors will be able to taste these regionally rooted beers at the venue. With the highly accessible Nanko ATC as the setting, the two days are shaping up to be a chance to fully enjoy Kansai's craft beer culture in one place.
