Komainu Brewing of Kashiwa, Chiba, has shared its Silver Week business announcement on Instagram. According to the post, the brewery will set up a booth at Matsudo Beer Fest on the 26th and 27th, calling on visitors to meet the brewery at the festival.
Komainu Brewing is the maker of Kashiwa Komainu Brewery, a craft brewery founded in 2017. Brewing in Kashiwa, the brewery creates beers in a wide range of styles and with diverse ingredients. Its approach is to make even less familiar styles approachable, with flavors that are easy to distinguish.
The brewery offers more than six core beers, including its flagship Kashiwa Hajime IPA and Masakado Beer, a Belgian dubbel inspired by the historical figure Taira no Masakado. Seasonal beers are also released, so the festival may offer an opportunity to discover a beer that reflects the season.
Komainu’s B&T Plus taproom in Kashiwa serves its beers alongside tantanmen prepared by chef Kubota of Kashiwa Tantanmen, as well as beer-friendly dishes. At Matsudo Beer Fest, regular customers and first-time drinkers alike will have a chance to explore craft beer from Kashiwa. Details about the beers available and the booth lineup should be checked through the brewery’s official social media channels.
