At the beer pub Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Shimomeguro, Meguro, an update to the tap list for Wednesday, March 25 was announced. On this day, five newly tapped beers plus α rotate in at once. Breweries from around Japan are lined up, creating a broad mix of styles.

The highlight this time is being able to follow beers with very different aromas and textures at the same time, from pale ale, Weizen, sour IPA, millet saison, to fruit-forward hazy IPA. In the post itself, a comparison between Anglo Japanese Brewing's "Cosmic Night" and Ishinomaki Hops Works' "Lemon Hazy IPA" is recommended, making it an easy day to experience differences in acidity and fruit character.

Also, Udon Brewing's "Yuzu Oroshi Udon Hazy IPA" is available in cans as a limited release. It is introduced as a beer whose label design involved the shop staff, making it a place where you can enjoy not only the tap list but also the story behind the packaging.

THE DODO HOUSE is a Meguro spot that serves wine as well as craft beer. The post says they will keep the interior warm even on rainy, chilly days, so it looks like a good fit for a night when you want to linger over a few glasses. Note that Friday the 27th is scheduled for a private party, so be careful to check for changes to regular business hours.
