Uchu Brewing announces KONBINI IPA cans at Toranomon Hills
On May 12, Uchu Brewing posted from its directly operated taproom on the second floor of Toranomon Hills "Glass Rock" to announce the arrival of its new DDH IPA, "KONBINI IPA." Inside the taproom, guests can enjoy canned products and six taps of draft beer.
Uchu Brewing is a brewery based in Hokuto City, Yamanashi, that continues to make beers themed around space. In Tokyo, it operates a directly run taproom on the second floor of Toranomon Hills "Glass Rock," creating a place where people in the capital region can experience the company's worldview.
In this Instagram post, the taproom at Toranomon Hills announced that the new DDH IPA "KONBINI IPA" had arrived in cans. It is introduced as a soft, juicy IPA made with hops from the United States, New Zealand, and Australia.
As of the post, the draft beer lineup inside the shop consisted of six varieties: "Uchu PARADISE TROPICAL SMOOTHIE SOUR," "OTAKU SMOOTHIE SOUR ALE," "Uchu IPA DDH IPA," "Uchu ALE DDH WEST COAST IPA," "UCHU TORANOMON QDH QUADRUPLE IPA," and "Nothingness DDH DIPA." Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with last orders at 8:30 p.m., and the shop is cashless. No food is served, but outside food is allowed, and canned beer purchased there can be enjoyed inside the shop or on the terrace for an additional 100 yen per can.
Uchu Brewing launched in Yamanashi in 2018 and has continued to deliver new releases in both draft and cans through its directly operated taprooms. The Toranomon Hills location serves as a place to receive those new releases and confirm the brand's current position in the city center.
