Minoh Beer used an Instagram post on August 12 to announce that tickets for Minoh Beer Kanshasai 2026 are now on sale and to reveal this year’s limited-edition mug design. According to the brewery’s official site, the event will take place on September 20 and 21 at Ueno Hiroba in Expo’70 Commemorative Park.

Based in Minoh, Osaka, Minoh Brewery has long focused on what it calls a daily local beer rather than a special-occasion one. Its beers are unpasteurized and unfiltered, with yeast still alive in the bottle, and the brewery has earned recognition in international competitions over the years.

This year’s Kanshasai moves from Minoh to the spacious grounds of Expo’70 Park and adopts a more flexible format, allowing guests to arrive during the event hours rather than in fixed sessions. Advance tickets are sold through LivePocket, with options that include a dedicated mug plus beer tickets, or beer tickets only. Visitors who kept their 2025 Kanshasai mug or mug can bring it back and use it again. The Instagram post also points out nearby attractions such as the EXPO'70 Pavilion, the National Museum of Ethnology, and the unusual bicycle area, and suggests pairing the beer event with the park’s evening summer festival for a full day out.
