Kamiyama Beer Brewery was founded in Kamiyama Town in July 2018 by Manus from Ireland and Sayaka Abe from Japan. The brewery aims to layer Kamiyama’s essence onto beer styles from around the world, and it has valued not only brewing but also creating a fun place to gather. A project like this one, which invites food makers from within Tokushima Prefecture, is a chance to experience that philosophy firsthand.
The taproom is attached to the brewery and is usually open mainly on weekends and holidays. Its appeal is that you can enjoy freshly poured draft beer together with the atmosphere of the local area. A day where the bounty of the sea meets the mountains of Kamiyama. For craft beer fans, this is an event worth watching not just for the beer itself, but as something to drink in the full context of the land.
