CRAFT BEER BASE BUD Updates Taps on 3/23, with 10 Beers Opening from Japan, the U.S., and Europe
CRAFT BEER BASE BUD in Osaka's Umeda district has released its tap list for March 23. From the new CRAFT BEER BASE × Matt Brynildson pale ale to a West Coast IPA, fruit lambic, and barrel-aged stout, the lineup brings together 10 beers in a wide range of styles, all available at once.
At the beer pub "CRAFT BEER BASE BUD," located on B2 of Osaka Ekimae Dai-1 Building in Umeda, tap information for Monday, 3/23 was announced. Business hours are 16:00 to 22:30, with last call for beer at 22:00.
The highlight of the day is the newly tapped Trap Door × Irrelevant Beer "Sea Change". It is also described in the post as a "classic West Coast IPA," with a beer centered on aromas reminiscent of citrus and pine, along with a clean finish.
Looking at the full tap list, the breadth stands out. CRAFT BEER BASE × Matt Brynildson "Gentle Lion" (Modern American Pale Ale), OUR BREWING "Second" (QDH Hazy Triple IPA), and Firestone Walker "UNION JACK" (West Coast IPA) create a hop-forward flow, while Swan Lake Beer "Amber Swan Ale" and BARE BOTTLE "DARK COSMOS" provide maltier options.
In addition, the lineup includes a fruit lambic like Cantillon "Rosé de Gambrinus", a richly layered barrel-aged stout with adjuncts like Finback "BA Marshmallow Drip", and even Ise Kadoya Beer "KADOLABO029 Rose & Gun" (Hard Cider), making it a list that offers plenty of enjoyment as you move from one glass to the next. With Kyoto Brewing "Mado Otoko" (Belgian D IPA) also on the list, the chance to compare brews across domestic and international makers is another BUD-style appeal.
With its station-adjacent location, it's an easy place to stop by for a drink after work or settle in for a longer tasting session. Whether you go all-in on IPAs or add in lambic and cider to vary the pace, the tap lineup changes character depending on how the drinker builds the round.
