Sakamichi Brewing announced on Instagram that "Let's Lager! (Lager Tasting & Presentation)" is scheduled to take place at the Sakamichi Taproom on March 26 and 27, from 19:00 to 20:00 each day. Designed for lager fans, the session combines tasting and commentary into a single experience.

The event centers on the work the brewery has collaborated on with Sebastian Hohentanner of BET Brewing / Tokyo Helles over the past year and this year. The post explains that attendees will be able to taste seven different lagers with distinct characteristics while listening to his presentation. By comparing different styles side by side and tracing lager history and brewing background, the program is structured to appeal to both beginners and experienced drinkers.

The participation fee is 2,200 yen for advance payment and 2,500 yen for payment on the day. It is reservation only, and applications are accepted through a dedicated form. Payment can reportedly be made at any Sakamichi Brewing location.

Sakamichi Brewing is based in Tachikawa, Tokyo, and was established in 2019. On its official website, the brewery emphasizes an approach to brewing that values process as much as results, and it pursues beer making that ranges from classic styles to contemporary expressions. This lager event also stands out as a way to experience that philosophy firsthand. Rather than just a drinking session, it looks set to be an hour spent exploring the lager style in depth.
