On April 28, Matsubokkuri Restaurant NAKAZATO announced on Instagram that it will introduce three craft beers from THE KICHI, a brewery and cafe in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. The post said that new craft beer offerings will be added from May and encouraged people to try them as the weather turns warmer.
THE KICHI is a brewery and cafe located between Tobu Nikko Station and JR Nikko Station. With an easy-to-visit location as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, it offers its brewed beers both in-house and as canned products. As a place that helps create new appeal for Nikko, it is popular not only with tourists but also with local customers.
The brewery’s lineup consists of three styles: Kölsch, Weiss, and American Pale Ale. Kölsch is the flagship beer, characterized by malt flavor and a mild citrus note.
