Two Kegs Tapped in Inagekaigan

At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE (Mihama Base), a craft beer specialist in Inagekaigan, Mihama Ward, Chiba City, two draft beers were tapped on Friday, May 15, 2026. The post mentioned the “comfortable temperature,” making it an easy night to stop in for a single pint after work or settle in for a proper comparison tasting.

The first beer is The Veil Merciless Merciless. This hazy double IPA from The Veil in Richmond, Virginia uses Citra, Galaxy, Vic Secret, and Simcoe Cryo. It is designed to keep bitterness in check, with deep haze from wheat and oats and an intensely juicy mouthfeel as its defining features. The price is on the higher side, but it is being presented as a beer worth trying anyway.

The second beer is Topa Topa Blue Heaven. This West Coast IPA from Topa Topa in California offers tropical, fruity aromatics with a firm, crisp finish. Along with notes reminiscent of melon and blood orange, the aftertaste is dry, delivering the clean drinking character typical of the West Coast style.

Mihama Base is a brewery-focused shop that updates its draft lineup frequently and also supports bottle and can takeout. In the Inagekaigan area, where you can feel the sea breeze, the appeal lies in being able to enjoy two beers with very different personalities. This time, the atmosphere in the shop was also lifted by staff celebrating a birthday, adding a little extra special feeling to the usual pint.

A rich hazy DIPA and a sharply defined West Coast IPA. With these contrasting two kegs side by side, the lineup highlights the wide range of “beers you want to drink right now” that Mihama Base is known for.
