Three New Drafts Pour at MIHAMA BASE in Makuhari
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Makuhari has announced three new draft beers from Faction, Sierra Nevada, and ISEKADO. The lineup spans a West Coast IPA, a Triple IPA, and a smooth Hazy IPA.
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer-focused venue in Chiba’s Mihama Ward, has added three new beers to its Makuhari tap list.
The first is Faction’s Terpsman IPA, a 6.9% West Coast IPA brewed with Centennial, Comet, and Mosaic hops, along with terpene aroma compounds from Abstrax. The beer is designed to showcase a pronounced hop character.
Sierra Nevada’s Hoptimum follows at 11.0% ABV and 75 IBU. This Triple IPA uses a blend of that year’s hops to build an intense yet refined aroma and flavor profile. Despite its strength, the brewery describes it as surprisingly drinkable.
The third new pour is ISEKADO’s Neko no Nomimono, a collaboration with Himitsu Beer. Based on Himitsu Beer’s Rakko no Nomimono and brewed with bonito flakes from Daiocho in Shima, the 5.5% Hazy IPA offers passion fruit, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple-like aromas. Its bitterness and astringency are restrained, with a smooth, easy-drinking finish.
The wider tap list also includes KIRIN HEARTLAND, Fuller’s London Pride, West Coast Brewing’s Mosaic Mainline, Smog City’s Watt Strike Hazy IPA, and Toppling Goliath’s Supa Sue-Mo. Guests can move from a crisp pilsner or traditional bitter to hop-forward double and triple IPAs.
Located in Takasu, Chiba, MIHAMA BASE also offers craft beer for takeaway, making it a convenient stop for exploring a broad range of draft beers around the Makuhari area.
