Sakura Festival Held at Enibrew, Featuring WAKABA, Sakura Beer, and New NOMCRAFT Bottles
At the beer pub Enibrew in Nakamozu-cho, Sakai City, Osaka, the "Sakura Festival" is underway, with the interior decorated in cherry blossoms. Alongside draft WAKABA and Kinuka, the lineup also includes sakura beer and four bottles from NOMCRAFT, making it easy to enjoy a wide range of spring-like pours.
At the beer pub Enibrew in Nakamozu-cho, Sakai City, Osaka, the cherry blossom-decorated "Sakura Festival" is still going on. Step into the basement shop and a springtime scene spreads out before you, and with its convenient location just a two-minute walk from Nakamozu Station, it is an easy place to stop in for a drink after work or on the weekend.
This round of new taps features two draft beers. "WAKABA" (NAMI NO OTO BREWING / Hyogo), brewed with Awaji Island's new rice "Yumemusubi" and slowly low-temperature fermented and matured for three months with sake yeast, is characterized by its sweet, elegant ginjo aroma, mellow acidity, and delicate umami derived from rice. The other pour, "Kinuka" (Johana Beer / Toyama), combines the fruitiness of saison yeast with yuzu peel, resulting in a soft sweetness as well, making it a beer that even those who dislike bitterness can enjoy.
The cherry blossom-themed selection is also well stocked. On tap, the pub is offering "Spring Whisper" (Ise Kadoya Beer / Mie), "Sakura Sakihokore" (HOPDOG BREWING / Akita), "Sankt Gallen Sakura" (Sankt Gallen / Kanagawa), and "Ouka Ranman" (Niwaji Brewery / Hyogo). Sake is also available, but for those coming for beer, the lineup lets you feel the full sense of sakura season.
In addition, the bottle shop has just received four new beers from NOMCRAFT BREWING. "NOMCRAFT IPA" is the flagship American IPA, while "NOMCLASSIC Irish Stout" is a collaboration with Kyoto Beer Lab and is an easy-drinking beer despite its rich flavor. "Octopus King" is a Dip Hop IPA, and "Moonbow Sheep" is an IPA, making this a lineup that invites you to compare differences in hop character and drinking texture. You can enjoy them in the shop or as beer to go, and draft beer by the pint is also available to take home in a dedicated PET bottle.
Sakura-themed sake and beer have been popular every day, and some labels are reportedly running low. If you want to taste a full range of spring-inspired drinks, it would be best to visit soon.
