Two New Beers on Tap at Ikebukuro vivo!: Mohua and Oboro no Saka White Arrive
At the craft beer specialty shop "vivo! BEER+DININGBAR" near Ikebukuro East Exit, two new beers were announced on tap. Inkhorn Brewing's "Mohua" and Kanpai! Brewing's "Oboro no Saka White" have been added, bringing the draft lineup to 20 beers.
At vivo! BEER+DININGBAR, the beer pub located underground in Higashi-Ikebukuro, two new taps were announced in the March 8 tap update.
The new additions are:
- Inkhorn Brewing "Mohua" (Hazy IPA)
- Kanpai! Brewing "Oboro no Saka White" (Belgian White)
The announcement introduced "Mohua" as a refreshing Hazy IPA with a striking grapefruit character from Riwaka and Citra. "Oboro no Saka White" was described as a fruity beer with a strong use of orange peel and coriander seed.
That day's tap list spans everything from pale ale, IPA, bitter, pilsner, saison, porter, and stout, making it easy to compare styles. In addition to domestic breweries such as Ushitora Brewery, Shiga Kogen Beer, Minoh Beer, and Miyazaki Hideji Beer, Guinness and cider are also on the list, making it easy to match the mood whether you want to go hard on hops or finish with something more malt-forward.
vivo! is a dining-bar style spot where you can enjoy craft beer with food. Its station-close location is a strength, making it useful from the first drink through dinner. Centering the evening on the two new beers and building a lineup from the 20 taps by style will let you enjoy the day’s selection in a more layered way.
