West Coast Brewing New Taps in Makuhari

At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE (Mihama Base), a craft beer specialist in Makuhari, Chiba, two draft beers from West Coast Brewing have been newly tapped. In addition to enjoying draft beer primarily in the shop, takeout is also available.

The first new keg is Special Delivery:Ramosa. This Hazy Double IPA was dry-hopped with the new hop variety "Ramosa" as the main hop, alongside Citra CRYO, and has an ABV of 8.0%. Tropical aromas reminiscent of pineapple and mango, bright orange citrus notes, and malt nuances like oat milk layer together to create a satisfying beer with a solid body.

The second keg is After_dawn. This is a West Coast IPA with an ABV of 7.5%. Deep herbal notes derived from terpenes, aromas reminiscent of mint and rosemary, citrus scents of orange and lime, a tropical impression, and a subtle woody character come together in harmony. With a moderate bitterness that tightens the finish, it is a beer that feels distinctly like West Coast Brewing.

The taps that day totaled eight in all. Also on tap were KIRIN HEARTLAND, Isekadoya Beer Imperial Red Ale, West Coast Brewing's The Technician, Karl Strauss Mosaic Session IPA, Belching Beaver Phantom Bride IPA, and Revision Royal Sofa Hazy DIPA. The lineup offers a wide range for comparison tasting, making it easy to choose based on your mood, from hop aroma to malt richness.

Note that Mihama Base Makuhari will be closed on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7. Anyone planning to visit should check the business days before heading out. If you're following WCB's new releases in Makuhari, these two kegs are not to be missed.
