Hideji Beer, based in Nobeoka, Miyazaki, will host the Autumn Mukabaki Beer Festa 2026 at its Mukabaki brewery. The event will run from 11:00 to 21:00 on September 26 and from 11:00 to 19:00 on September 27. Admission is free, and advance registration is not required.
Around 30 beers from Hideji Beer and breweries across Japan will be served, with roughly 20 selections rotating throughout the event. Visitors may therefore encounter different beers depending on when they arrive. All beers will be offered at a special price of ¥600 per glass.
Hideji’s lineup is expected to include Taiyo Lager, known for its clean profile, refreshing bitterness, and gentle malt character, as well as Shinkan Pale Ale, which features citrus aromas from Cascade hops. Fruit-inspired beers using local ingredients such as hyuganatsu, kumquat, Miyazaki mango, Nichinan lemon, and kabosu will also be available.
Dark beer fans can look for KURI KURO Dark Chestnut Ale, a rich beer with chestnut character. Limited selections such as Kohaku no Shiawase and Kinkan Weizen, along with collaboration beers including the HIDEJI×NOVORU NZ HAZY IPA, will add further variety.
The festival will also feature local food stalls and charcoal barbecue. A two-person barbecue set with beef, pork, chicken, sausage, and vegetables will be available for ¥4,000 at the festival price.
Located at the foot of Mount Mukabaki, Hideji Beer has continued brewing with a focus on Miyazaki’s local resources. With mountain scenery and the sound of a nearby stream as a backdrop, the festival offers a chance to compare a broad range of craft beers in their natural setting.
