At WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialty shop in Inage-Kaigan, three new kegs have just been connected. This time, three brands with very different personalities have appeared: Topa Topa, Ise Kadoya Beer, and Belching Beaver.
The first keg is Topa Topa Good Good Hazy IPA. Topa Topa participates in "1% for the Planet," donating more than 1% of sales to local NPOs, and this series is brewed four times a year in collaboration with the recipient organizations. This release is a hazy IPA created in partnership with Heal the Ocean, which supports beach cleanups and sewage and wastewater treatment, and it stands out for its light, fruity, clean finish.
The second keg is Ise Kadoya Beer DDH Citra Hazy IPA. Using Citra as a single hop, it is characterized by a layered aroma that combines grapefruit, peach, and even berry-like nuances. The sweetness of citrus and a tropical character spread throughout, with a soft berry note drifting out toward the finish.
The third keg is Belching Beaver Imperial Phantom Bride. This is an imperial IPA that supercharges the popular Phantom Bride, using twice the usual amount of Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops. With a solid 9.0% body, it is a beer that layers hop depth on top of strength.
MIHAMA BASE has a general liquor retail license, so it also offers takeout bottles and cans. Guests can compare draft beers inside the shop, and it is also a comfortable place to relax with a meal.
