Hop BroDH is usually shorthand for Double Dry Hop. It’s a method where hops are added again after fermentation to really boost the aroma. With the sour acidity and mango layered on top, it tends to come across sweet-tart and really aromatic.
MugiI see, so it’s like an extra punch to the aroma. Then I’m curious about Gahaha Beer’s XPA too; the name already sounds way too lively!
Hop BroExactly. Koto Ward’s Gahaha Beer with “CROSS POINT XPA [Extra Pale Ale]” is in a great spot too. It’s light, but the hop character still comes through clearly, and that’s what makes XPA appealing compared with a heavier IPA.
