Flora Fermentation to Appear at SHOTOKU BEER GARDEN on July 25
Flora Fermentation, based in Higashiomi, Shiga, has announced it will take part in SHOTOKU BEER GARDEN at Taishi Hall on July 25. Held as a supporting event for the Shotoku Festival, the gathering will pair Shiga craft beer with food from noon.
Flora Fermentation is a Higashiomi, Shiga-based brewery built around the idea of "farm and fermentation". On its official blog, the brewery has highlighted work on barley cultivation and the use of homegrown hops, showing a brewing approach that connects agriculture and beer from the ground up.
The upcoming event venue is Taishi Hall in Yokaichi-cho, Higashiomi. SHOTOKU BEER GARDEN is scheduled for July 25, starting at 12:00, as a supporting event for the 54th Shotoku Festival. According to the organizer, visitors can enjoy local food and Shiga craft beer from noon, and music will be available inside Taishi Hall for a more relaxed experience.
Flora Fermentation also noted on Instagram that it will help energize the venue alongside HINO BREWING, which will be set up next door. With local breweries gathering in the same area, the event should offer a chance to compare different beers while taking in the atmosphere of one of Higashiomi's summer festivals.
