Marumugi is a small beer bar that opened in 2011. It is located in Arakicho, about a three-minute walk from Yotsuya-Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, making it an easy stop after work or while moving from bar to bar in the neighborhood. For anyone who wants to take their time comparing beers inside the shop, the lineup makes it easy to choose according to mood, from Hazy-leaning IPAs and toasty pale ales to stronger IPAs.
The shop has been closed on Tuesdays and public holidays since December 5, 2024, although some public holidays during the Golden Week period are being treated as special business days. This lineup, with origins and styles spread across the board, seems like a good choice for a day when you want to move through the beers one by one and check out each one's character.
