Along with its Wednesday, April 1 business notice, the beer pub Hop-Scotch Tokyo in Fujimi, Chiyoda Ward introduced its lunch curry and the day’s tap list. The shop opens at 12:00 and takes a break from 14:00 to 16:00. For lunch, it will serve saba mustard curry, offering a menu designed to be enjoyed as a food-and-beer pairing.

Eight beers in different styles will be on tap that day. The lineup is as follows.

- Georgetown Brewing “Lucille” (IPA, ABV 7%, IBU 85)
- Bellwoods Brewery “Jelly King Passionfruit, Orange, Guava” (Dry Hopped Sour Ale w/ Passionfruit, Orange, Guava, ABV 5.6%)
- West Coast Brewing “Slow Motion” (CBD Hazy Session IPA, ABV 4.5%)
- Totopia Brewery “Sirenphobia” (Hazy Double IPA, ABV 8%)
- Oni-Densetsu “Kin-Oni Pale Ale CGX Nelson ver.” (Pale Ale, ABV 5.5%, IBU 40)
- Faction Brewing “Command 450” (IPA, ABV 6.7%)
- Chucknut Brewery “Gold Label Pils” (Pilsner, ABV 5.5%, IBU 25)
- Totopia Brewery “Auroraphobia” (DH Sour IPA w/ Black Currant, Mango, Raspberry, Sweet Cherry, Vanilla, ABV 6%)

Although the lineup is centered on IPA styles, it also includes hazy, sour, pilsner, and pale ale, making it easy to compare the differences in drinkability. If you want to start light, “Slow Motion” or “Gold Label Pils” stand out. If you’re looking for something fruity, “Jelly King” and “Auroraphobia” are eye-catching choices. If you want a firm bitterness, “Lucille” and “Command 450” are strong candidates, and if you want a fuller body, “Sirenphobia” is another option. Paired with the lunch curry, the appeal is that you can change how you drink depending on the time of day, which feels very much like Hop-Scotch Tokyo.
