Miyashita Sake Brewery to Join Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring with Doppo Beer, Opening May 20
Miyashita Sake Brewery announced on Instagram that it will take part in "Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring." Doppo Beer will appear only in Season 1, and the venue is Nakano Shiki no Mori Park. The Okayama brand is joining this spring craft beer event again this year.
Miyashita Sake Brewery is headquartered in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, and in craft beer it offers "Doppo" and "Kurashiki Beer." Its official website also says it produces and sells craft beer and local beer as two Okayama brands.
In its latest Instagram post, the company announced its participation in "Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring." The post notes that some days in May can feel as hot as summer, and while highlighting how delicious beer tastes when enjoyed outdoors, it calls on visitors to raise a glass with Doppo Beer.
The venue, Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring, is a craft beer event held in the event area of Nakano Shiki no Mori Park. Season 1 runs from May 20 to 24, and Season 2 from May 27 to 31. According to Miyashita Sake Brewery's post, Doppo Beer will participate only in Season 1. Admission is free, and hours are 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Being able to taste Doppo Beer, brewed by a sake brewery in Okayama, at a major event in central Tokyo is one of the special attractions of this festival. Because the lineup changes with the seasons, another part of the appeal is that the beers you can encounter vary depending on when you visit.
