Fukui-based craft brewery OUR BREWING has reached its second anniversary since opening. According to an announcement on Instagram, from March 20 to 22, 2026, the company will hold a 2nd anniversary festival and offer all beers at special prices at its taproom during the three-day period.

Commemorative Beer: "Second"


The main highlight this time is the 2nd anniversary beer, "Second". In the post, the brewery ties the word "Second" to both the anniversary and the meaning of "second" as a unit of time, using the message "Every \"Second\" Counts." The name reflects the challenges faced during its second year of operations and signals its stance heading into year three.

The beer style is QDH Hazy Triple IPA. The description highlights layered aromas of peach, lychee, bubblegum, apricot, mandarin orange, and grapefruit, along with the juiciness brought by a heavy dose of hops and a firm bitterness that sharpens the finish. Specs are ABV 9.0% / IBU 84.1 / SRM 5.4.

In a comment from the brewer, the team revealed that it used a double mash process, which is often employed in high-ABV beers. After collecting the wort, they add more malt and aim for a higher sugar concentration, then layer on dry hopping to create a beer with the strength fitting for an anniversary release.
