BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS in Kokubunji, located on the 6th floor of the Dairoku Tokyo Building in Minamicho, posted a status update on July 21. The pub is operating on its regular schedule, 17:00-25:00, with food last order at 23:00 and drinks last order at 24:00.

Seasonal plans

The first announcement is the Kokuvegi Blueberry Festa, running from July 25 to August 2. This annual citywide program brings together 31 local shops, and Gambrinus is taking part again with two limited dishes made with Kokubunji-grown blueberries: a blueberry-and-marshmallow hot sandwich, and camembert fries with blueberry jam. It is a straightforward pairing idea for beer drinkers who like to compare how fruit, dairy, and malt interact.

The second seasonal program is the Okinawa Fair, scheduled for August 4 to August 15. During the fair, Orion draft beer will be on tap throughout the period, giving the bar a clear warm-weather option alongside its craft lineup.

On tap

The current lineup lists 11 beers: Ise Kadoya Beer Meyer Lemon Radler, Flora Fermentation Korpokkur [saison with spruce chips], Ogna Alps Weizen, Gangi Brewing Easy Grove [session hazy IPA], Shiokaze Blue Lab Citrus Mayhem IPA, Sankt Gallen Pineapple Ale, West Coast Star Watcher [West Coast IPA], Nomcraft Triskelion [West Coast IPA], Repubrew Coastal Crush Hazy IPA, Shonan Beer Schwarz, and Pilsner Urquell.

The range is broad enough to move from citrus-led radler and fruit-forward ale to saison, wheat beer, hazy IPA, schwarzbier, and a classic Czech pilsner. For beer fans, that makes the tap wall useful not just for a single preferred style, but for side-by-side comparison across light, hop-driven, and malt-driven profiles.

Coming soon

The upcoming list includes Yokohama Beer Alt and Hamacro, Touchdown Shirakaba Beat, Craft Beer Base Northwest Pale Ale, Craft Rock Live Takeover, Y Market Trail Current, Ushitora Hopsniper IPA, and Ise Kadoya Beer Brown Ale. The post reads like a compact summer roadmap: seasonal food, rotating taps, and a steady set of easy-to-understand reasons to stop by.
