Beer Cafe Gambrinus, a craft-beer pub on the 6th floor in Kokubunji's Minami-cho district, is open as usual on July 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with last orders at 11:00 p.m. for food and midnight for drinks.

The day's tap list features 13 beers. Awa Brewing's Paradox, Repubrew's 69 IPA, Yokohama Bay Brewing's Sprint IPA, and U.B.P Brewery's Get Goal! give the lineup a hop-forward core. The selection also includes Repubrew's Foniobia as a Dortmunder, Craftrock's Live Takeover as a hazy pale ale, and Shiga Kogen's Shinshu Heion as a fruit IPA, so the range stretches well beyond one style.

Beyond IPA, the board also includes Kunitachi Brewery's 2006, Isekadoya Brewery's Brown Ale, Flora Fermentation's Koropokkuru saison, Ogna's Alps Weizen, and Pilsner Urquell, making it easy to pair different pours with dinner. The seasonal food side is active as well: the Blueberry Festa runs until tomorrow with camembert fries topped with local blueberry jam and a blueberry-marshmallow hot sandwich. An Okinawa fair is scheduled for August 4-15, bringing Orion draft plus dishes like goya champuru, mozuku seaweed, Okinawa soba, rafuti, and handmade sata andagi. Coming soon are Swan Lake's White Swan Weizen, Nomcraft's Wonder: Mosaic, Sankt Gallen's Pale Ale, Kunitachi Brewery's 1926, Shonan Beer's Summer Orange Ale, and Hop Dog's Hard Cider.
