Latest from the Kobuchizawa Taproom


Uchu Brewing, based in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, shared an update on its directly operated taproom in Kobuchizawa. In the post, it announced that a new batch of "Uchu Relax" had arrived in cans. Eight taps are also connected inside the shop, creating a setup that makes side-by-side tasting easy.

What’s on tap now


The tap list in the photo includes `ATOM PASSIONFRUIT`, `OTAKU`, `Galactic Path`, `COSMIC WHALE`, `Uchu Relax`, `Uchu IPA`, `GENESIS #002`, and `Nothingness`. From smoothie sour ales and DDH IPAs to barrel-aged imperial stout and black barley wine, the range is broad, and Kobuchizawa's appeal lies in being able to enjoy that wide span of flavors at the same table.

Can sales and visitor info


The can sales lineup includes `OTAKU`, `Galactic Path`, `COSMIC WHALE`, `Uchu IPA`, `Uchu Relax`, `GENESIS #002`, `Labyrinth #002`, `YUZU SUPERNOVA`, and `UCHU NECTAR`, with a notice that purchases are limited to 24 cans per person. The taproom is open Friday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and food purchased inside the Michi-no-Eki Kobuchisawa can be brought in. It’s an easy setup for enjoying beer with food.
