In an Instagram post on April 17, Awa Brewing of Fukui City introduced the special collaboration beer Yuzu Dragon with IBREW GINZA. The base beer is the company’s "Yellow Dragon," brewed with sake yeast, and this version is finished as a Sake Pale Ale with Yuzu by adding yuzu peel.

According to the post, the aroma is centered on the ginjo-like fragrance produced by sake yeast BMK3. Pear, green apple, and strawberry notes are layered with berry and apricot nuances from Mosaic hops, and the freshness of yuzu peel is added to create an even brighter, more refreshing drinking experience. The specs are ABV 5.5%, IBU 14.9, and SRM 3.1.

The collaboration partner, IBREW GINZA, is a brand that operates craft beer bars mainly in Tokyo and Yokohama, and the post explains that a tap takeover was also held to mark the release. OUR BREWING operates a brewery and taproom inside the MINIE commercial complex in front of Fukui Station, and its official website says it has a system for brewing new releases every week with its 1,000L facility. It is a beer that reflects the brewery’s style of combining local ingredients with the character of outside partners.
